The Different Shades of Lies (Manifestation of Untruth)

Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God … [For] there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
(Leviticus 19:11 & Revelation 21:27).

Overview:

Lying thrives everyday among us whether it is with our family members, friends, strangers, coworkers, workplaces and even in the church. Oftentimes people lie without realizing that they are indeed lying. But most times, people lie with obvious intention to deceive. Nonetheless, whether knowingly or unknowingly telling a lie is a sin in the eyes of the Lord. And there are damnable consequences for lying. Therefore, in this study, by God’s grace we will look at the different angles or slants of lying.
